Wendy Steiner is the Richard L. Fisher Professor of English at the University of Pennsylvania and a wide-ranging cultural critic who has written for the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Nation, London Review of Books, and the Times Literary Supplement. She is the author of many books, including, most recently, Venus in Exile: The Rejection of Beauty in Twentieth-Century Art.

Patrick R. Grzanka is an Honors Faculty Fellow at Barrett, the Honors College and affiliate faculty of the Center for Biology & Society at Arizona State University. Patrick R. Grzanka is an interdisciplinary social scientist and an emerging leader in the field of intersectionality. His research explores the psychosocial dimensions of intersecting inequalities, such as race, gender, and sexuality, with a focus on emotions and mental health. His publications have appeared in journals such as Symbolic Interaction, Journal of Counseling Psychology, American Journal of Bioethics: Neuroscience, and Sexualities, and his research has been supported by funding from the National Science Foundation.
